Pain In Hands, Elbows, Shoulders, Hips, Knees, Extreme Fatigue. Treatment?
I am a 26 year old female that had at one time a very active lifestyle. Until approximately 1 year ago when I began to have pain in my hands, elbows, shoulders, hips, and knees. I am often very fatigue and find that it is difficult to get out of bed in the mornings. About midway thru the day after a shower, and 2 cups of coffee I feel a little better but not much. Can you please give me some idea of what may be wrong?
Hi there, Welcome to HCM. You are showing signs which suggest Rheumatoid arthritis. This disorder is an autoimmune disorder which affects small joints of wrist and hand and later start involving bigger joints. The patient complains of pain in the early mornings and as the day progresses the stiffness in joints decreases. I suggest you get an orthopedic opinion and start treatment as soon as possible. This disease can be controlled by antirheumatic medications. thanks.
