Pain In Hip And Groin. MRI Showed Fluid Around Hip And Pelvis. Bone Scan Report Shows Low Grade Activity And Hyperemia At Superolateral Margin. Help

I received a copy of my bone scan / spec CT today. It shows I have degenerative changes in the hip and something called low grade activity and hyperemia at the superolateral margin. It started with pain in my hip and groin. MRI showed fluid around the hip and pelvis area. I completed a round of antibiotics and it was feeling better now I'm finished the antibiotics it has become painful again.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Recurrence of pain may be due to the fact that source of infection is still there and again there is some collection or previous one is not healed completely.
If biopsy is possible from that area then biopsy can be done and treat accordingly.
These can be done only after clinical examination and investigation reports.

Take Care
