Pain In Knee. X-ray Shows Possible Cartilage Damage. On Co-codamol. Work Involves Standing For Long Hours, Climbing Stairs. Help

problem with knee pain for last 2 and and half months, had x-ray and dr thinks may have damaged cartiledge and referred to hospital, taking c-codomol. Been informed 32 week list to see consultant! Job involves standing a lot and walking and up and down stairs, will I be causing more damage? Also been tired a lot? Can you advise please?

It is important to obtain an exact description of knee pain and of the ensuing events, since this often helps to distinguish one soft tissue from another ( for involvement).
Cartilages are damaged due to mild trauma when raising in kneeling position.
Weight ?
May be due to osteoarthritis,
Both knee involved or one.
If possible , upload the X ray and blood report so that exact nature & type of disease could be established.
