Pain In Left Lower Abdomen, Excess Vaginal Mucus. History Of Ovarian Cysts

Hi. I am getting waves of pain in my left lower abdomen which is starting to radiate down my legs. I have excess vag mucus and am not due a period for another fortnight. I have suffered from ovarian cysts in the past, the last bad one was about a year ago when I almost fainted with the pain. I managed to make it to the doctor but it had burst by the time I got there. Apart from going back on the pill is there anything I can do to treat this, as I am 95% sure that s what s happening to me again right now. Thank you for reading.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you are having now could be due to an ovarian cyst. For the pain relief, you can take an over the counter antispasmodic and do a hot fomentation and see if it helps.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
