Pain In Left Lower Side. Diagnosed As Enlarged Follicular Ovarian Cyst. Is Taking Duolution L Recommended? Any Side Effects?

before 1 month i had taken abortion pills..then after around 20 days i felt some pain in left lower side...nd then a consult with my Dr. nd i did a sonography...after that i hd to know that i hv a left enlarged follicular ovarian cyst....then she reccomd me to take Duoluton L tabs for 3 cycles....
so pls guide me for this tab...may i go with it....any side effects.....will the ovarian cyst completely remove by this tab...

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Duoluton contains hormones to regularize your cycle and also to prevent any PID, abnormal bleeding. The drug is given in cycle so as to simulate normal cycle. And if taken for 3 cycles no major problem will occur and you can get your normal cycle back and can be pregnant. Read the leaflet of drug information for all details once on how to take and for precautions.
For cyst usually it regress but it depends on the exact cause and its responce to drug. This is normal course of treatment. Consult your doctor for examination and management.
