Pain In Left Shoulder Blade, Goes Down The Shoulder, Fingers Got Numb. What Is This Disease ?

Hi my husband was having pain in his left shoulder blade for 2 weeks and then pain satrted going down from the shoulder down to his hand and then now his fingers are numb.. Pain is also there. Went for a X-ray test and was told that his c5/6 disc narrowing. So am thinking of getting advise from your expertise on how shall he treat himself. He is not keen in getting treatment from singapore. We would like to visit Kerala. Do you want to see his x ray report and then advise us accordingly? Please share your views.
He is suffering from this for the past two months. What's it all about and is it serious?

I understand your concerns. I also believe that getting an evaluation in Kerala might be a good idea. India is much better in health care technology and has a greater competitive edge as compared to other countries. I hope that you get him to see a doctor in the hospital of your choice as soon as you can so as to relieve your anxiety. I am thinking that the long lasting shoulder pain speaks of an injury like a frozen shoulder where pain can last as long as it has in your husband's case. I hope this helps.
