Pain In Left Shoulder Blade, Moving To Left Side Of Chest, Pricking Sensation In Fingers. Treatment Options?
Hi I have pain in my left shoulder blade area that runs around to the left chest area and a sharp pain that runs down my left forearm and pins and needles in my thumb index finger and middle fingers and have had it for over a year now I have seen a physio and a dock about it but has not helped at this stage.any help would be great as I have to do heavy labor at work and it s slowing me down.

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe the pain path is of brachial nerve and, radial nerve. It appears to be due to cervical spondylosis, due to pressure on the brachial nerve, showing pressure symptoms.
High potency bcomplex by parental route, anti inflamatories, and muscle relaxants may be needed. if no relief physiotherapy may be needed.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have C.T.scan for confermation of the diagnosis.

Your symptoms are possibly due to a nerve entrapment. This usually occurs between the vertebrae where the nerve leaves the spinal column, but can be anywhere along the run of the nerve . You need to consult a Orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon to establish where the nerve entrapment is occurring and then resolve the problem. Mention any previous neck or back injury to the doctor. Taking a centrally acting pain killer and nerve stabilizing drug will help until the problem is solved. I trust this information helps you.
