I thought my period started last night cause when I wiped there was a lot of blood but when I woke up this morning there was no blood when I wiped or on my pad. I have been hurting a lot on my lower left side. A few months ago I thought my period started cause when i wiped there was a little brownish red blood but never on my pad. What is going on?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Sometimes there could be scanty flow during the periods, which is called as hypomenorrhea.
It can occur due to many causes like hormonal imbalance, anemia, thyroid disorders etc.
So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound.
If she suggest you go for hormonal profile including thyroid hormones, prolactin levels etc.
By this the possible cause can be identified and treated.
