every time I sit on the floor with my knees bent I feel pain in my outer thighs. when I stand I feel pain behind my knees and up the back of my thighs and also in my hips. I have great pain with my first few steps and then im fine until I sit with my knees bent. it also happens with normal sitting in a chair but not as bad. what could it be. I feel like an old lady and im only 37.
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having some degenerative changes in your joints giving this problem. There might be having osteoartheritis changes in your knee and hip joints. Go for x-ray hip and knee joints. consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined. Physiotherapy will help a lot. Go for light exercise like walking, swimming. Do Patellar and back extension exercise. Do not sit in squatting position. Take calcium and vitamin A and D supplements. Ok and take care.
