Pain In Right Lower Side. Colonoscopy Shows Divertulitis, Normal CAT Scan, Blood Tests. Cause Of Pain?

I have been having very bad pain in my right lower side for over 2 weeks - went to emergency they thought it was appendix , did cat scan and blood work all came back fine . This past Monday had a colonoscopy to check things and found I have diverticulous with several pockets in my colon but no infection - would that be causing the pain ?

Hi, you had diverticulosis, with several pockets in the colon, means it must be there since very long time, and so far you didn't have any pain, so it may not be due to this . It may be due to the urinary tract infection, or a small stone in the lower end of the ureter near the bladder. Thank you.
