Pain In Right Shoulder Spreading To Chest While Exercising. All Tests Normal. Respiratory Issue?

Hello I am 23 years old and I am having issues with pain in my chest from exercising, I have seen a cardiologist twice (Echo-gram stress test) and they say everything is normal and that I am healthy. I am in decent shape and in the green for my weight according to my height. The thing is this chest pain occurs most commonly with running, I cannot run far as it will become too painful, at max I run a little over a mile. If i control my breathing I can run farther, this pain originates near my right shoulder and spreads across my chest if I persist in running. I am wondering if this is possibly a circulatory issue or perhaps respiratory?

Hi

This problem is common but not a major issue. I guess you are new in running exercises. Try not to breath with your mouth open when you run. Breath through your nose. This will mitigate your problem.

Now that you had all the test which came back as normal. It is not a respiratory issue. You need to do regular breathing exercise. The physiology is a long to explain here.
