Pain In Right Side Of Neck, Occasional Ear Pain, Lightheadedness. Consulted Doctors, No Improvement. Recommendations?

For the last couple of weeks I have had pain in the right side of neck with occasional ear ache and head ache, I went to a pa and he said sinusitis and gave me antibiotic, well then I got a lot of light headness when I moved my head or put pressure on that side of my neck and head, went back and saw another pa and was told that I had inner ear calcium deposits and vertigo, now I am still having the light headness and pain and also now have a burning numbness also what should I do now, I do not know if I should call back the doctor

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

First we need to diagnose it. As your doctor told it may be infection or vertigo or calcium deposit it inner ear or may be other problem like musculo skeletal pain, abscess due to earinfection, any infection in ENT region, migraine or allodyna. Get once radiological examination for paranasal sinus and for ear, complete hemogram, serum electrolytes and RFT.
Now take NSAID like Paracetamol and muscle relaxant for couple of days and complete the course of antibiotic, do steam inhalation and salt water gargle with routine exercises. This will help you. Fet back with the reports. Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Lohit
