Hi thanks for your question.
Pain right side of abdomen could be due to APD that is acid peptic disease.APD occur due to increased secretion of acid in stomach due to variety of causes like, spicy food ,cigarette smoking ,alcohol and infection by a bacteria called as H pylori. The second possibility is of Gall bladder disease like stone or infection. You are also having bright red blood with this pain possibility of pain originating from colonic disease like ulcerative colitis cannot be ruled out .There is a possibility that these two could be separate issues . Bright red blood usually comes from disease of rectum and anal canal like pile mass, anal fissure or proctititis .Anal and colonic disease can give rise to back pain .Difficulty in climbing stairs could be to weakness due blood loss. Consult a physician who may examine you and may perform proctoscopy and or colonoscopy on you to determine the cause of pain and bleeding. You may need many more investigations for evaluation of this pain and bleeding
Hope this answers your question.
