Pain In Side After Fall, Tenderness. Do I Require An X-ray?
Hi Dr. I fell just over three weeks ago on top of shelving and hurt my left side and straight away I felt pain which remains very sore . e.g on inhaling deep breath soreness felt while at rest, constantly aware of pain and tenderness having to turn over on my right side to get up out of bed and hold onto locker to help manouver. I wake up if I roll over on my left side during my sleep. Do I require an x-ray?

From history it seems that there might be strain or soft tissue injury on the part.
Chances of having fracture ribs are there.
Take some analgesic, muscle relaxant medicine.
Go for x ray to rule out fracture.
