Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You have scratch from dog and cut and pain,The wound caused by teeth must be washed with soap and water for 3 to 4 minutes followed by application of Povidone Iodine or Ethanol (Alcohol).
As there is no cure for Rabies,
Even if dog is vaccinated against Rabies,it is better to take post exposure prophylaxis by Human diploid cell vaccine (HDCV) 1.0 ml, IM (deltoid area), 1 each on days 0, 3, 7 and 14.
For pain analgesic like Ibuprofen or paracetamol may be taken.Pain at the bite site is common it should settle in day or two, if not vaccinated against tetanus it may also be taken. Please consult local physician for this.
Please do not ignore dog bite.
Please take care
Good Luck.
