Pain In The Head After Being Hit. Need To Be Concerned?
Hi doc, two days ago on Saturday morning, i had hit my head in movable football post when i was trying to catch the ground ball by leaning towards the ball. Some hit spot increase my muscle in round shape, i don't know what is says exactly. Today its gone. But i have still some feel of pain when i touch the spot. Should i need to concern about this?
Hi user Swelling after injury is usually due collection of blood (hematoma). Small hematoma (swelling) usually resolves spontaneously over time but resolution of pain takes little longer and moralization of skin color takes much more time. All changes happen naturally and does not require any intervention ecept pain killer to relieve pain. If you are having unusual headache, persistent headache any other symptoms related to brain or vomiting then only imaging of brain will be required Hope this helps, wish you best health
