Pain In The Mouth. Have Large Swollen Near The Teeth. Missed Supper And Ate Crackers While Bicycle Patrol. Suggestions?
Hi, I have pain in the roof of mouth, and over my top back right 3 teeth. Also there is a large swollen spot directly beside the teeth. It first occurred 2 days ago while on bicycle patrol during an event. I had not eaten supper and was hot and mostly dehydrated and began to eat a pack if crackers. While eating the crackers the big swollen spots came about. The next day it turned into pain and now tooth pain which is getting worse.
I would suggest you to visit the Dentist and get the checkup done, take an x-ray of the affected tooth, if needed you probably have to go for root canal treatment of the tooth. Start with the course of antibiotics and analgesics. Apply mucopain oral ointmnet topically over the affected area. Take lukewarm saline rinses and antiseptic mouthwash rinses. Maintain a good oral hygiene, drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated.
Hope this helps out.
