Pain In Thigh And Down My Shin, No Power In Leg When Squatting. Had Leg Injury
I injured my leg about 20 yrs ago, playing squash, and in slowing down to play the shot my knee gave way, and after that was in pain and the pain is down my shin, and now my thigh too. I feel that the original injury was a torn muscle but now developed into arthritis and knee joint problems. Plus there is still no power in my leg when squatting, and feel that it would do more damage if I force it. Any advice please Greg
Hi, Any injury on joint or bones give rise to early degenerative changes and artheritis on the part. In your case there might be having these changes in your knee, thigh and shin. consult ortopedic surgeon and get examined. Go for physiotherapy. Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements. Ok and take care.
