Pain In Thumb, Started Suddenly, Swelling, Bruise, Shortness Of Breath. Any Ideas?

i was picking up a plate when all of a sudden my thumb hurt really bad. nothing had happened to it. I put the plate down and it began to swell ...now there is slight discoloration/bruise like color right on my print. as the pain began to go away the color remained purpleish below the skin. I now have a slight shortness of breath but I am clocking my pulse at 60bpm. I am sitting with my feet up but feel really funny.

Hi, it appears that you had an insect bite at that moment so had pain and swelling, due to allergy of the sting you had low pulserate.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a steroid shot, and probably infusion.
