Pain In Upper Right Breast Bone Area, Soreness Increased With Raising Right Arm. No Help From Aspirin. Heart Related?

On Monday I was cleaning window blinds and felt a pain in the area just above the right breast (about an inch above). It is in the upper right breast bone area It is sore there now. Not sure if I should go to the doctor or not. Could it be heart related? When I raise the right arm it seems to get worse afterwards. Any suggestions to alleviate the pain. The pain doesn't go away even with aspirin.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The description is highly suggestive of muscle pain...
Your symptoms do not suggest Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) - pain from the heart is oppressing, in central chest (and left), worse on effort, relieved by rest, may radiate to shoulders and arms, associated with sweating and so on..

The limited information provided is not sufficient enough to arrive at an appropriate conclusion and further suggestion... / You have not stated your personal habits, family history, or co-morbidities, even age or gender...which could influence the diagnosis and outcome...

Get yourself examined.../ basic tests may be needed...
The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.
Over The Counter (OTC) Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) / muscle relaxants / anxiolytics will be useful in the meanwhile...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
