hi there,thanxs for putting up your question on healthcaremagic.
Firstly,lets rule out few questions:
- Does the pain get worse with repetitive movement, for example, while you are working or playing a sport?(you may have
tendinitis)
- Is it painful to grip a doorknob, and does the pain start on the outside of your elbow and move down your arm to your wrist?(it can be
tennis elbow)
-Do you have
numbness or pain in your fingers, hand, wrist or arm, especially when you flex your wrist?(it could be
carpel tunnel syndrome)
-Are one or more joints swollen and tender?(You may have
RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, an inflammatory joint condition. You may also have GOUT, or an INFECTION of the joint or bone.)
Advice;
-apply ice packs,
-use the splint,it will help in reducing numbness and pain.
-take the anti-inflammatory medicine.
Please visit an orthopaedic specialist if the condition persists for further assessment.
Regards,
Dr NEHA.
