Pain Like Pudendal Nerve Pain, Worsened With Sitting. History Of Being On Femera, Presently Stopped. Thoughts?
I was taking femara for 3 months and developed pain that seems like pudendal nerve pain--worse when sitting. I have been off the drug for 6 weeks and the pain is easing but the oncologist said that femara cannot cause bone or nerve pain and I must have something else. Also that any side effects of femara would have disappeared within 2 or 3 days--what do you think?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The nerve pain that you are having is not likely to be related to Femera. It is more likely to be due to a nerve root compression at the level of lower spine. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
