Pain On Back Side Down From Neck Even After Extensive Shoulder Surgery. What To Do ?

Yes, I have a daughter who had extensive shoulder surgery on her left side 2/15 still having problems with pain on her back side down from the neck. Where she is receiving care, she is frustrated, anxious, losing income over missing all this time and feels they aren't listening to her. Had a procedure where lydocaine is injected into her shoulder. It was last Friday. The doctor hit a nerve, her face went numb and she is now on the verge of crying all the time. Help!

Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

It looks from your details that she needs a good physiotherapy after her shoulder surgery.There are chances of stiffness of muscles near the shoulder after disuse for some time.At present doing warm fomentation with help of a rubber bag can be helpful for her.
