Pain On Left Side Of Chest Beneath Breast On Sitting Down, Leaning Forward, Eases On Changing Position. Serious?
Hello, I ve noticed I experience a pain in the left side of my chest just beneath my breast , I only experience this pain when I am sitting down and slouched forward, the pain is dull but gradually becomes discomforting enough to the point to where I must change my sitting position and it goes away. Is this something serious? What is it?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely costochondritis. But it is better to rule out other conditions of heart and lungs by doing an ECG and Chest X ray to be on safe side. For costochondritis i treat my patients with anti inflammatory gels like diclofenac or nimusulide for local application.I also give oral tablet of same for some patients.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
