have pain on right side by bottom of rib could this be a gol blader acting up can t sleep started about 3 hours ago-- pain 1 to 10 -- is 6 I m a male 55 with no problems

Yes it can be due to involvement of gall bladder, it can be cholecystitis or gall stones. Calls for ultrasound scan. Anti spasmodics offer good relief from pain. From herbal medicines you can use chitrak adi vati 2 tds with hot water. Rest treatment lies on proper diagnosis.
