Pain Under Arm Near Pectoral, Gurgling Sound When Pressed. Could This Be Possible Pericarditis?

My Dad has had worsening pain on his right side under his arm/near pectorals. He thought it was neuropathic pain at first and went on various neuropathic pain drugs but this hasn t worked. He also says that when he presses the tender area he hears it gurgle and release and the pain suddenly goes but only for a second. Pericarditis? Axillary artery blockage? Or just basic nerve pain? Or something else entirely?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
This could be simple muscular pain and not any thing else as you are thinking for just try simple pain killer medicine or NSAID and the best medicine would be "Ibuprofen Acetaminophen" will give good result and stop thinking about the big name of pain that would create more pain have nice day.

General & Family Physician Dr. Veera Raghava Rao Buddha.'s  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
it appears that your father might be having the cellulitis, of the arm pit, or swelling of the axillary lymph glands.
The other causes may be the cervical spondylosis,by pressing the nerves in the neck the pain starts.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have M.R.I. for confirmation.
Advise him to take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery
