Pain While Eating After Eating Hard Shell Taco. Is Getting Scope Immidiately Recommended?
I experienced pain after eating a hard shell taco the other night, its been two days and I still have pain when I eat. I have tried eating softer foods but it still bothers me. It only subsides when I sleep or not eat for a long period. I really don t want to rush for a scope to be used so how long should I wait for it to subside?

if the pain is in swallowing seek otorhinolaryngologist if down the GIT then a gastro enterologist.
Try simple antispasmodics and soft diet. but better seek gastro enterologist help

Hi,Dear.Welcome to healthcare magic.
It is very common getting hurt while eating hard shell tacos.Sometimes it causes a cancer sore to develop i the mouth which bothers you.
So you are not supposed to worry about it.Do warm water gargles 3 to 4 times a day.If the sore is visible the apply GEL KENACORT on it twice a day.And if the pain is severe then you can take IBUPROFEN which is available OTC.IF you are not getting your pain subside till 7 days then consult again.
