Pain While Urinating, Fainting, Unable To Walk. What Is Wrong ?
My daughter is 23 and has had some pain that seems to occur after urination . Denies pain with urination. It becomes so intense she has actually felt faint and is unable to walk. Sitting down or lying down makes pain worse. Has recently decided standing is best position when pain starts. She is not a complainer and the 1st three or four times it occurred were about 6 months apart. She has had a pelvic ultrasound without any unusual findings. This week she has had the beginning of the pain 2 out of last 3 days, not as intense as before. Questioned her about pain in flanks and she said yes with palpation she is tender. She denies fever , normal color and odor to uring.

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your daughter has severe pain while urinating and has repeated episodes of UTI over a period of last 6 months.
Please consult qualified urologist for clinical evaluation and get following tests done under his guidance.
1)Routine urine test with urine culture to find out organisms causing this infection.
2) Ultrasound scanning of the abdomen
3) Endoscopic examination of bladder to rule out what is called as Pseudo Membranous Trigonitis which is common at this age.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac twice daily .
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water.To keep her urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
