Pain,bleeding And Redness. Incision Done On Leg To Remove Hematoma. Anything Abnormal?

good day
I have a large Hematoma on my leg from a baseball its been 10 days since the hit,,so on day 6 I went to hospital it hurt so bad they did ultrasound and x rays again nothing is broke but they did a small cut and got out some clots and lots of blood and never stitched up the cut,, now 4 days later it is still bleeding and redness on the surrounding bump on my leg and somewhat painful. is this normal to bleed like it is and the pain.

Hi,
Cut made to drain blood from hematoma usually are not stitched.
Apply pressure bandage after proper dressing.
It seems that there might be having some infection producing redness on the part.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Ok and take care.
