Painful And Numb Fingers And Toes. Experienced Stroke And Nerve Damage. Relief Measures.
I suufered a stroke in January of this year. My stroke caused severe widespread never damage. Although the numbness is much improved on the right side of my body my hand fingers foot and toes are still quite numb and sometimes painfull. Is there anything that can be done and also is it normal that some days my munbness seems worse than others? My doctors are saying 18 to 24 months for the numbness to go away. Do you agree with this? I'm getting more impatient by the day!
Hi, Due to nerve damage due to stroke, takes some time to go. Take vitamin B1, B6 and B12 injections as a nerve tonic. Go for regular exercise of limbs and fingers, this will give good improvement. Ok and take care.
