Painful Areas Of Skin, Yellow Patch On Thigh. Have Stress
I am a 58 year old lady , my health is good and I work long hours nursing. I am often under a lot of stress with work, and lately have painful skin areas. It is on top of my thigh and is aggravated by clothing. I noticed today there was a small area which presented like an old bruise. There are no lumps or rash, just a small yellow patch.
Hello, I went through your complaints. Small yellow patch may be due to irritation of the skin from many sources, such as clothes rubbing against the skin. Patches that occur without other symptoms are usually minor and often go away with home treatment. Contact with a substance that causes irritation or an allergic reaction (contact dermatitis). People who work with soaps, solvents, or detergents might splash these liquids onto their clothes at waist level. Over time, the body can develop allergies to these substances. Infections like Yeast, Scabies and psoriasis are other causes. Better consult a dermatologist and get the treatment accordingly. Best wishes
