Painful Stomach Cramps With Bloody Mucus In The Toilet Bowl And After Farting?
For the last 24 hours I have had the urge to go to the toilet but I cannot poo. Yesterday when I did poo there was blood in the bowl and what looked like bloody mucus. When I fart there is blood that sprays out and I have had incredibly painful stomach cramps.
There are different possible causes of blood in the stool but accurate assessment would require that you see your doctor.
Some potential causes are: (1)diverticulitis (this is inflammation and/or infection of diveriticuli) (2)hemorrhoids (3)anal fissure (4)colon cancer (5)peptic ulcer (6)inflammatory bowel diseases such as crohns and ulcerative colicitis (7)infection
It would be best for you to see your doctor for an assessment which would include history, examination of your abdomen and a rectal examination.
I hope this helps
