Painful Swollen Lymph Nodes In Both Sides Of Groin. Worsened Pain During Sex. What Could Be Wrong?

My husband has had swollen lymph nodes in both sides of his groin for about 3 eels or more. He told me for a while it was like double over pain and said it seemed to hurt worse when we have sex. They hurt still and are very tender and sometimes I can see him kinda bending over a little or laying on his tummy to kind of relieve it. But I'm very worried and do not understand what it is and I know he's worried even though he would never admit it. He kind of shys away from me when that area is exposed I guess so I won't question or panic. I need help trying to come up with some possibilities of what may be wrong. Please and thank you. hi Ami, first of all let me appreciate your concern for your husband. lymph nodes on their own are not a disease but mey indicate the presence of a disease or a wound. at the level of the groin and which pains alot after sexual intercourse, its best he goes for STI screening and proper investigations. best of luck
