Painful Urination And Bleeding. Given Shots And Pills. What Is Going On?
I went to the hospital a week ago cuz I was discharching and I had pain when I went to the restroom. They gave me 4 pills and a shot cuz they thought it was a std. I went again 3 days ago cuz I still had the same symptoms they did the same thing plus they gave me a prescription of 20 antibiotic pills . It s getting better but when ibpush the pee outa lil hard the pain comes back with a few drops of blood. My question is this. Why is there a few drop of blood at the end when I pee ?
Hi and sorry to hear about what you are experiencing.
UTI causes inflammation of the urine passage making it fragile and can bleed easily. Blood in urine is a sign of urinary tract infection and it correlates with the degree of severity. With the extra efforts you put at the end, it causes some bleeding.
This blood at the end signals just he severity of the infection. As it gets better with drugs, this should stop. Also, drink much water. if the doctor thinks it is a sexually transmitted bug, then he should test and treat your partner(s) too.
Hope this helps..Wish you a good health.
