Hi Welcome to HealthCareMagic

The biparietal diameter is normal, Head circumference, chest circumference , femoral length are also within normal range...... The posterior grade 1 is normal, but grade 2 will require LSCS... grades depends on the lying of the placenta covering the opening of cervix... grade 1 is just touching, grade 2 pratially covered, grade 3 os closed, grade 4 centrally placed...Hope i have answered your question..

Infertility Specialist Dr. Abhishek S. Parihar's  Response
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
For accurate analysis of this scan report you need to mention date of last menstrual period so that clinical gestational age can be calculated. Also what is the gestational age calculated by ultrasound. This report appears to be normal when compared with your gestational age of 6 months. Posterior placenta means placenta is implanted on posterior wall of uterus. Grading of placenta is done according to its maturity ( graded by presence of calcification in placenta ). At your gestational age grade 1 is normal . Fetus is growing well and you need not worry about it. Take care.
