Periodic Muscle Spasms In Stomach. Gall Bladder Removed. Have Limited Scleroderma. Any Suggestions?

I have periodic muscle spasms in my stomach primarily in both the upper abdomen quadrants and the lower left abdomen quadrant. I have recently had gallbladder removed, which it was in really bad shape but I did not believe that that was what attributed to these spasms or any of my stomach problems that could be related to irritable bowel syndrome. I also have limited schleroderma which my doctor said maybe contributing to my sluggish intentinal system. Last colonoscopy was 3 years ago. All okay. Scheduled for another one this month. I am on several meds for acid reflux, still have issues. When I bend down, say to tie my shoes, say my right shoe, I get such a bad spasm upper abdomen right side. I have meds for the spasms but no one seems to know why I get them. So much going on but no answers. Any thoughts?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The periodic spasms in the stomach could be related to a minor intestinal infection or gastric irritation and abdominal distension commonly seen after cholecystectomy.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
