Periods Getting Delayed After Surgery For Endometrial Polyp. Periods Regularized After Taking Femilon

Hi, i am 26yrs now, i am married. I had endometrial polyp and undergone surgery in july 2013. After 2 months of my surgery my periods are delayed and i consulted doctor she said its a hormonal imbalance. Doc suggested me to take femilon tablet, i used it for 2 months. My periods are regular. Now i stopped taking femilon but i got periods for the second time within 4 days after first period. I am worried because when i had a polyp i used to get periods twice a month and doctors said that there is chances of recurrence of polps.

Hello,
It is usual withdrawal bleeding after stopping the femilon.
Nothing to be worried about this.
As your polyp is removed, it does not affect your pregnancy or period.
Please follow your treating doctor advise before withdrawing any drug.

Hope this helps.
Wishing you good health.
