Periods, Intake Of 8 Pills Of Dolo 650 At Once. Any Precautions To Be Taken To Avoid Problem?
Hi my friend has taken 8 pills of dolo-650 at once today morning is there any serious concern to her health adding to this she is in her periods days so if there is any problem so how are what precautions and medication to be given if she do not want hospitilised?please tell me accurate answers as iam worried a lot about her.

Dolo 60 is a paracetamol .
Your freind has taken 8 tab? its a over dose. Paracetamol is safest drugs a fever relever & NACID .Still in high doses it is poisonous (like any other drug).
- About 7 gms of paracetamol taken as a single dose / in a day turs toxic for the liver ( May lead to acute fulminant swelling or necrosis of lever having grave effect on health.
* You have taken 5.2 Gms at a time-still I advice you to consult a
Gastro-enterologist urgently,& take his advice .
* The dose may give gastric irritation,burning,nausea,vomitting,blood in vomitting. Pl give her Ice cold milk & take her to specialists for fdurther consultation according to severity of reaction.
