Permanent Cure For Diabetes ?

I believe that diabetes is a curse for all who are the sufferers. It will never allow the patient to eat in a good manner, neither in quantity nor in quality. I have to leave my much loved Pizza because of the diabetes. Now I am relying more upon the fruits as they taste atleast good compared to opther foods. I have heard that in Indian Ayurveda some treatment for the complete cure of the diabetes exists. They make some medication using the black berries paste and some other medicinal plants and claim to cure the diabetes completely. I want the opinions from you guys as I am also planning to find out some indian doctor for the complete cure of the diabetes.

Hi Erin,

According to me, There is no permanant cure of Diabetes..if you are suffering from Type1 insulin dependant diabetes.

Also, there is no medication in Ayurveda which can permanatly cure this deases.

However, if you are suffering from type II then there are some ways to cure it in ayurved, ofcourse not through the medicine but through YoGa and Pranayam.  You need to consult some ayurvedic prectitioner for the same, Yoga and Pranayam really works..

I must advise here, you should exersice Yoga & pranayam, without stopping your medicine/Insulin. I hope your medication requirement will definately reduce gradually.

hello and welcome to healthcare magic!!
well i have to tell you that you have been misinformed as if there was a complete permanent cure for diabetes the whole world would have used it by now no matter from which science the cure is and so i would advise you to follow a healthy diet with regular exercise and medications to lead a healthy life and as for leaving the pizza is concerned it was never a healthy food to have so dont worry about it and take care of yourself.

As on http://diabetes.niddk.nih.gov/dm/pubs/insulinresistance/

Several drugs have been shown to reduce diabetes risk to varying degrees. No drug is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat insulin resistance or pre-diabetes or to prevent type 2 diabetes. The American Diabetes Association recommends that metformin is the only drug that should be considered for use in diabetes prevention. Other drugs that have delayed diabetes have side effects or haven’t shown long-lasting benefit. Metformin use was recommended only for very high-risk individuals who have both forms of pre-diabetes (IGT and IFG), have a BMI of at least 35, and are younger than age 60. In the DPP, metformin was shown to be most effective in younger, heavier patients.

If we expect FDA would approve Alternative routes we are mistaken. Drug centric regime driven more by Profits than anything else.

has anyone tried Gymnema Herb? DM2 is all about Engineered Oils and Fats and a epidemic introduced in society by profit hungry so called "Food industry".

Yes there is no cure for diabetes in medical terms. But Youa, Pranayam can help it and even eliminate it.The healing spiritual / holistic can take it out of your body. It takes 1-2 Year's. It removes Insulin dependency and then takes it out of your body. Try for 03 months spend 1.5 k/ pm only for one disease. Get in touch with me at lokeshwar92@gmail.com

Diabetes can be controlled with diet modification and medications, not cured as far as i know. I am an indian and my grandfather also tried for treatment with ayurveda for his diabetes, but instead of doing good, it did him more harm, first he used to take tablets and maintain diet, then someone told about ayurveda treatment, he went on for it despite everyone else telling him not to opt for it, he is suffering more now with major fluctuations in sugar and taking injections now as tablets not helping. My suggestion will be to get opinion fron a good endocrinologist, and take proper treatment continuosly.
