Pink Bump On Penis Shaft, Having Unprotected Sex. What Could Be This?
Okay recently i spotted a small pink bump on my fiance shaft like under the head but literally on tha shaft im just curious because we dont use protection we've been together for almost 3 years and im a little concerned for myself cause i dont wanna have unprotected sex with him not knowing if im harming myself. So any idea of what that could be?
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
It is very difficult to establish what the cause of the bump is without having detailed information or performing an examination. It could be due to non-infectious causes like pearly penile papules or due to an infectious cause (genital warts, herpes, etc.)
If you are concerned about this problem, then you can ask your boyfriend to see a doctor for a physical examination, so that the likely cause can be established. If you are in any doubt that this could be due to an infectious cause, it is better to have only protected sex.
Wish you all the best.
