Welcome to HCM!

I have gone through your query and from my clinical experience I can say that you should visit an ENT specialist and get your throat examined, basically we need to see your vocal cords. many times after the respiratory tract infections, there are cases in which the voice becomes hoarse, and it is difficult to speak clearly for some time.

From my clinical experince I can say that you should not try to speak loudly, or whisper , and avoid speaking much, as in all of these condition there is increased strain on vocal cords. you may go for gargals with Luke warm water. Please avoid coughing in order to clear the voice, this will again ham the vocal cords.

Exact cause for yor problem can be told after ENT examination.

Hope the reply is helpful
