Dear Sir I am sorry to hear your daughter got pneumonia. She has had I.V. antibiotis and is feeling better and I am sure Doctor has done excellent job. Your daughter got shadow in her lung due to pneumonia which we call loberconsolidation. In pneumonia it goes through three stages, stage of consolidation, stage of red hepatization, stage of greay hepatization and stage of resolution. It may take a few days. Some times physiotherapy of the chest helps. I am sure she will be ok soon. Kindest regards.
