Polyp Or Mucus Retention Cyst Seen In The CAT Scan. Mucosal Thickening In The Ethmoid Air Cells. Concha Bullosa Noted. Treatment?

This is the results of recent cat scan. what does it mean? There is mucosal thickening at the maxillary sinuses bilaterally with possible small polyp or mucous retention cyst on the left. Mucosal thickening is noted at the ethmoid air cells. There is an apparent mucous retention cyst or polyp apparently at a portion of the right sphenoid sinus anterolaterally near the posterior ethmoids. Mild mucosal thickening at the right sphenoid sinus. Mild to moderate leftward nasal septal deviation is noted. There is apparent partial concha bullosa of the right middle turbinate.

I have gone through your query and after thoroughly analyzing the CAT scan report it appears that you are having" Deviated nasal septum with concha bullosa right with pan sinusitis".

Your problem is a treatable disease but truly speaking surgery is the only answer to your problem. You have three defects in your nose and paranasal sinuses but these three may corrected in a single sitting by expertise hands of an ENT doctor.
