Popping And Cracking In Knees. History Of Jump From 6 Feet Onto Concrete. Reason?
Hello, quick question , thanks for your time. I am a firefighter medic and had to jump from a 6 foot fence onto concrete two weeks ago. Since this incident both knees are cracking and popping constantly, pain 1 out of 10 bilateral, no reduction in range of motion, no swelling noticed. Curious if fluid is causing the popping or perhaps something worse???
Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
From your symptoms and history it seems that you might be having some injury to cartilage or meniscus or some ligament of your knee joint.
Go for x-ray or MRI to know the nature of injury.
Avoid more bending from the joint for few days.
Give rest to the joint.
Take some anti-inflammatory medicine for speed up recovery.
If there is no improvement, then consult orthopedic surgeon.
Ok and bye.
