Popping Sound With Pain From The Leg To The Knee. What Could Be Wrong?
I am a 47 year old woman and I did the splits. As I was doing them I hear a pop. Now I have pain in my bottom when I sit or stand in addition I have pain going down the back of my leg to the knee. It is extremely uncomfortable to have sexual intercourse. Could you tell me what possibly could be wrong? This happened about three months ago and is still bothering me.
It looks that you had a incident of abnormal posture which had most probably lead some disc problem in your back.I will advice you following to have relief in this-
-Consult to an orthopedic doctor & get yourself investigate with help of a MRI back.
-Do rest.
-Avoid lifting heavy weight & bending forward.
-Take a good analgesic like advil or aleeve ,if pain is severe then you can have relief by taking combination of tramdol with paracetamol on prescription from your doctor.
Hope this all will help you.
With best wishes.
