female- age 17 yrs, positive strep test, No fever, chills, headache, naseau/vomiting, sore throat

Hi,
If you dont have sorethroat no need to worry, take a coarse of antibiotic and re confirm throat swab culture, as some person with strept possitive throat swab may develop rhematic fever, or nephritis.

Well positive for strep throat sounds like antibiotics are in order. Strep throat must be taken care of, there are cases that if its not it goes to your kidneys and causes diseases there.
