Possibility Of Having Yeast Infection After Wearing Same Panty Hose With Ski Pants For Days

I think I may have a yeast infection. I am went skiing last week and wore panty hose with ski pants two days in a row ( different pairs) and then work out a lot ( like usual) but have noticed a substance in my underwear in the last few days. I did feel a slight itch/burning the other day but they seems to have dissapated.

Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

Superficial yeast infection can occur on skin which is usually rubbed due to tight clothes and sweat and presents as sore rashes(contact irritation). But just keeping the area clean and dry and avoiding tight clothes will suffice for the itching and burning. There is no specific treatment required. But if the itching does not reduce and well defined patches or rashes develop, then you need to get them examined by a skin doctor to rule out fungal infection.
Thanks.
