Pregnancy. Having Thyroid Problem, Pain In Lower Abdomen. Given Pubergen. Is Pain Normal?
Hi, i am 29 year old and 12 weeks pregnant. I am also having Thyroid problem, initially i was having pain in lower abdomen and doctor recommended weekly course of Pubergen 5000 iu and Anin 500mg alongwith daily dose of Thyroid 25mg and Folic acid which is still continuing. But even after 6 weeks of the medicine course i am still having pain in lower abdomen and back, and sometimes it severe. please explain is it normal.
Hi,
Pain in the lower abdomen may occur as a result of stretch on the ligaments as the uterus expands; it may also occur in uterine irritability, apart from non-reproductive causes related to the urinary system and the intestines. The status of your pregnancy should be evaluated with regular monitoring and sonograms. The pain due to stretch usually stabilizes as the uterus grows out of the pelvis. If the pain is severe, it is definitely not normal and needs to be assessed by your doctor. Take care.
