Pregnancy Scan Showing A Clot. Suggested To Take Texakind. What Could Be The Cause? Any Precautions?

Hello,

My wife is 6.5 weeks pregnant, today when we visitied doctor and donr sonography they told us that there is a small 1cm clot. They suggested to take texakind tab for 10 days (1-1-1). We did no intercourse from the time we got to she she is pregnant i think 6 weeks

Can you please suggest :
Why this spotting occurs ?
Is it normal ?
Additionally what preventions we should take ?
Will everything normal ?

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
The spotting may be because of subchorionic bleed(bleeding in between the gestational sac and uterus),it hasn't occurred in every pregnancy but may be common in early pregnancy. It may occur because of bleeding in subchorionic space.
You should consult a gynecologist and go for routine ultrasonography to see clot is resolved or not and baby is growing properly or not.
Yes everything is normal.
