Hello Doctor,
I wanted to inquire about the MTP tablets. My wife has got +ve test from prega news. We are not interested in having another baby. I want to quote that she has valve problem in her heart for that ballooing has already been done. I want to know wheather she can be given MTP tablets? Wheather these tablets will have side effects to her hearts?

Please understand that MTP pills can only be used under medical guidance.
Pregnancy has to be confirmed by a gynecologist, and exact dating has to be done.
THen the tablets have to be taken as per proper prescription and dosage.
Completion of abortion has to be confirmed by a gynecologist again.
without these precautions, you run the risk of severe bleeding, infection, retained products, which are more risky in a cardiac patient.
